Works description:

Remodeling of the “Metro Sevilla Station”, located at the very downtown of Madrid, nearby “Puerta del Sol”.

Works performed:

• Formwork and concrete works related to the 4 junctions between “Sevilla Station” and the subway.
• Formwork and concrete works related to the hanging slabs. (573 m3)
• Formwork and concrete works related to the walls.
• Formwork and concrete works related to access ramps to the parking lot
• Formwork and concrete works for 3,764m2 of slabs on the ground to excavate under them later.
• Manufacture and instalation of 527 tn of steel.

4259 cubic meters of concrete were poured In all.

The complexity of this work is due to its location, as it is located in the very center of Madrid city, nearby “Puerta del Sol”, as well as its demanding deadline (3 months, from June to September in holiday period, to not affect the subway running), in spite of that, the deadline required by the client was perfectly achived,

To achieve this challenge, TecoZam had more than 50 people specialized among, operators, managers, technicians, to work in shifts 24 hours a day for 7 days a week, as well as the necessary staff and the constant support of our technical office.
